Cadenas del Corazón explores the theme of generational trauma within Mexican households through a handmade aluminum armor. Through precise composition, I aim to represent the hardships Mexican women endure growing up, in hopes of encouraging healing from inherited wounds. Each material in this piece invites viewers to reflect on their own childhood experiences and form a personal connection with the work. Inspired by my own journey and challenges, I seek to foster deeper empathy and understanding for those affected by generational trauma.
